Siste helg i august får vi besøk av Diego Calarco og Natalia Cristofaro. Diego har besøkt Bergen flere ganger og undervist på verksteder og gitt privattimer. Denne gangen ser vi frem til hans undervisning på helgekurs sammen med partner Natalia Cristofaro. Kurset har fokus på milonga.

Diego Calarco is a teacher, choreographer and dancer of international experience, was born in Buenos Aires on January 14, 1974. At the age of fifteen years old, he debuted as a dancer in the Amphitheatre Mataderos of Buenos Aires. Since then he has toured the world as a tango teacher and performer. He has established a tango school in Palermo, Italy. Since last year is the resident teacher at the Ecole de Paris, and holds regular courses and seminars also in London.
Method Diego Calarco
Diego has consolidated his method of teaching, in the course of twenty-two years and thirteen years of dance teaching. Taking the example of his great masters, Juan Carlos Copes, Antonio Todaro, Gustavo Naveira and Mariano “Chicho Frumboli, has managed to integrate the classical methods with his inventiveness and logic of the movement, and to combine the two different cultures of his birth and adoption in a mix of sounds and the people culture, the porteno style with the European logic. The method is based on the deconstruction of the movement, basic improvisation, education individual and couple and on the study of the body awareness and bodily communication from the essence of tango. Each movement is analyzed, studied, broken down into every part of the body, to join up with the passion and elegance, to create a mix of technical fluency and musicality. The predominant focus of tango salon allows you to create strong foundations traditional techniques, which together with the movements and dynamics of tango today, creating a classic-modern style that does not alter the elegance and purity of the movement. Natalia Cristofaro De Vincenti is a dancer, actress and choreographer. Growing up within a family of artists, is influenced by the art of the theater since childhood. The Tango comes into her life like a game, through the holidays with family and the influence of her grandmother. Then it becomes a profession thanks to the teachings of the Masters the most important of Rosario and Buenos Aires.
From 2007 onwards Natalia partcipated as a dancer, choreographer, member of the jury, in many theater plays and successful Festivals in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, France, Spain and Italy.
In 2012 and she was special guest at the “Festival y Mundial de Tango Buenos Aires 2012” along with singer Guillermo Fernandez in the show “Conexión Piazzolla-Ferrer.” In 2013 she was declared Honorary Representative of Culture Argentina by the Municipal Secretariat of the city of Rosario. In 2014, she became the Legal Representative of the Commission Anibal Toilo in Italy, achieves in Salerno “The 100th Anniversary Anibal Troilo” under the patronage of the Municipality of Salerno and the participation of more than 20 associations of tango in Campania.
